Just an hour from Dubai, the Marine Club is a beautiful coastal destination situated next to the protected inland waterways and extensive mangrove habitat of Umm Al-Quwain. The close proximity to the mangroves and nearby desert environments makes this location the ideal venue for our adventure based trips that include curriculum based field studies and/or desert excursions – typical trip duration 2 days.
The habit at Umm Al-Quwain is home to a diverse ecosystem of plants and animals. A tour on the resident House Boat is a great way to explore the inland waterways and learn about the mangrove environment; all the while keeping an eye out for flamingos, the odd turtle and even the occasional dolphin!
The Marine Club also offers an impressive array of exciting adventure-based activities. The high ropes course is complete with climbing wall, Jacobs ladder, leap of faith and, most notably, the roughly hundred-metre-long zip line, which offers a thrilling climax to any adventure trip.
