Musandam Dhow Cruises
Overview
The spectacular Musandam coastline is the ideal venue to enjoy a day or overnight dhow cruise. As a licensed operator in Oman for the past 16 years we have created most of the adventure options available north of Dibba. These include numerous coastal treks, deep water soloing routes, bolted climbs, tryolean traverse, downhill mountain bike trails and sea kayaking expedition routes.
Our short cruises use double decked open dhows while our longer cruises use a dhow with air-conditioned cabins. All dhows are fitted with swim platforms, bathrooms and kitchens. They carry an array of sports gear and a safety boat.
We have permission from tribal leaders to visit remote mountain villages and beaches. We have itineraries developed from a half day activity for schools staying at our Dibba Plantation Camp to a 4-night 5-day expedition to the remote fjords in the north where dolphin spotting is assured.
Students may spend the entire time on board the dhow and in the surrounding waters or opt to combine the cruise with remote trekking, Deep Water Soloing or Scuba Diving.
