Overview
Our Mleiha Camp is located on government owned land, adjacent to the Mleiha Archeological Centre. The camp activities require little or no transfer time. Activities include trekking, Unimog tour, survival, Desert tours, orienteering, environmental awareness, treasure hunt, astronomy, horse riding, visit to the archeological museum and Emirati cultural displays.
The Camp is set within a pristine desert environment. The camp has a traditional feel to it with camping tents and majlis areas, lanterns, and a fire pit. Students sleep on mattresses in these single sex tents. All food is prepared and served by a professional catering team.
The camp is located on its own land with a perimeter security fence. There are enough beds to sleep over 100 students and plenty of room around the camp to not feel crowded. Accommodation is divided into single sex areas with teacher tents separating the two areas. Bathroom blocks have hot water and are a 30 second walk from the sleeping tents.
