Overview

A vibrant blend of culture, art, food, and fun
Renowned for its variety of attractions, students will have plenty of opportunities to practise their language skills and also enjoy an authentic taste of Spanish culture. Through a comprehensive excursion programme that requires communication in Spanish, students will improve their vocabulary by immersing themselves in Spanish culture and entertainment. Language lessons will directly relate to afternoon activities, giving students genuine opportunities to practise their Spanish. The trip features a Flamenco evening, a cookery class and an opportunity to establish pen pals with local students and meet them at their school while in Madrid.

Day to day

Day 01

Morning Flight from Dubai with Emirates Airlines. Afternoon arrival in Madrid. Your Tour Manager will meet you at the airport and asist you in your private coach transfer into Madrid. Check in to your accommodation. A chance to explore the locale on foot before your first evening meal.

Day 02

After a healthy breakfast, either walk to in lingia School for 2 hrs of immersive Spanish. After class, you will meet your guide and depart on foot for an immersive, 3hr walking Art and Graffiti tour of Madrid, taking in some amazing urban art pieces and really getting to know the main monuments of Madrid. Afternoon visit to the Prado National Museum. Evening meal back at your accommodation and a chance to reflect on the day.

Day 03

After a healthy breakfast, either walk to in lingia School for 2 hrs of immersive Spanish. After class, meet your guide and take a privte tour to Toledo, which is a 2hr coach trip from Madrid. A chance to see the rich history of this amazing City. A focus on language can be incorporated into this visit. Evening of Flamenco with a show at the La Pacheca club.

Day 04

After a healthy breakfast, either walk to in lingia School for your final 2 hrs of immersive Spanish. After class, meet your Tour Manager and enjoy a special Tapas class where you will get to see how this Spanish staple is made...and then eat it! After your class, take a guided tour of Palacio Real, followed by Reina Sofia Museum. Late afternoon stroll in Retiro park. Any one game can hire a boat! Returning to your accommodation for dinner and a chance to reflect on the day.

Day 05

After a healthy breakfast, either walk to in lingia School for your final 2 hrs of immersive Spanish. After class, meet your Tour Manager and enjoy a day at the historical city of Segovia including a Tour of the city and entry to the Cathedral. Returning to your accommodation for dinner and a chance to reflect on the day.

Day 06

After breakfast, for your final full day we will make it count! Visit to Reina Sofia Museum.before having a self-guided tour of the world famous Santiago de Bernabeu stadium, home of Real Madrid....a team you will get to watch in action later! After the tour, maybe some free time for some last minute shopping before returning to the hostel to have an early dinner and then head back to the Bernabeu for a La Liga football match. After the match return home to sleep before the travel day tomorrow.

Day 07

Morning packing up and then private transfer to Madrid airport for an afternoon flight back to Dubai. Late arrival back in Dubai.
