Overview
Our Farfar Camp is located on the eastern coast of the Omani Musandam governorate, close to the beach and mountains so that all activities require little or no transfer time. Activities include trekking, survival, orienteering and deep water soloing. A traditional dhow is used to reach the camp, dhow activities can include fishing sea kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving.
Our Farfar Camp is set within a working date farm. The camp has a traditional feel to it with barasti majlis area, lanterns, wooden seating under the palms and a fresh water pool. Students sleep in tents. Food is prepared by local restaurants and served by our staff at camp.
The Plantation camp is located on its own land with a perimeter security fence. There is enough space to sleep up to 40 students with plenty of room around the camp to not feel crowded. Accommodation is divided into single sex areas with teacher tents separating the two areas. Bathroom blocks have hot water and are a 20 second walk from the sleeping tents.
