day to day
Day 01
Welcome to Bali
Selamat Pagi! Welcome to Bali! Meet and greet with our guide and transfer to your hotel in Canggu area.
Day 02
White Water Rafting & Sacred Monkey Forest
After breakfast, you will be picked up at the hotel, and we will head to the rafting departure point. There, you’ll receive instructions on how to behave on the boat and be provided with a life jacket, paddle, and helmet. We will then embark on an approximately two-hour adventure on the sacred Ayung River, navigating through white water, passing villages, beautiful nature, jungle and waterfalls. On the way back to the hotel, you’ll visit The Monkey Forest, also known as the Sacred Monkey Forest of Padang Tegal. This is one of Ubud’s most popular attractions—a natural forest sanctuary home to a horde of grey long-tailed macaques! You’ll have the chance to come face to face with these amazing animals and they may even let you feed them or snap that all-important Monkey Selfie!
Day 03
Munduk Waterfall & Ulundanu Bratan Temple
Today you will explore Bali’s hidden treasures in the forests of central Bali—a journey sure to take your breath away. Your adventure includes a visit to Munduk Waterfall (or a similar site, depending on the day’s conditions). The Munduk Waterfall Trek will lead you through Bali’s forest plantations of coffee, cacao, and clove, finishing at a magnificent waterfall where the cool breeze from the spring water will refresh you. Don’t miss the chance to stop by Wanagiri Hidden Hills, where the “twin lakes” Buyan and Tamblingan meet in a caldera formed by a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago, creating a unique and stunning panorama. On the way back to the hotel, you will stop at Ulun Danu Bratan Temple. Lake Beratan, the second largest lake in Bali, is the main source of irrigation for rice fields and plantations throughout Bedugul Village. The surrounding mountain, often called “the holy mountain,” is known for its cool weather and fertile soil. Perched on a plateau by Lake Beratan, the majestic Ulun Danu Temple was built in honour of the Goddess Danu. The area around the temple has been believed to be a site of worship and religious rituals since the megalithic period.
Day 04
Mount Batur Sunrise Trek
It’s trekking time! The Mount Batur Sunrise trek starts before dawn, with provided flashlights leading the way through the darkness. As you ascend, the path transforms from easy to challenging, culminating in a triumphant summit push. At the top of the summit watch the sky slowly turn from black to inky blue to pink and orange. After conquering the peak, enjoy a breakfast box before descending and indulging in a relaxing soak in a natural hot spring. The mineral pools, with temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius, and the lakeside pier offer a majestic view of the lake with the peaks of Batur and Abang as a backdrop.
Day 05
Balinese Activity Experience at Ruma Desa
Today, you will visit Rumah Desa, where an extraordinary experience awaits. You will be divided into small groups to learn about traditional Balinese architecture and the daily life of the Balinese people. This includes interacting with locals, observing the making of offerings, and creating traditional scrubs (Boreh) used as preventive treatments. You will also be introduced to Balinese alphabets and trek to the rice fields to explore the traditional Subak irrigation system, learning about water management’s importance in Balinese agriculture. Engage in activities like ploughing with cows, rice planting, and practicing various traditional games. Remember to bring some fresh clothes in your backpack. Afterwards, you will transfer to your next hotel in the Canggu area, where you can rest and relax during your free time.
Day 06
Surf School & Capoeira Class
Today, head off to catch some waves with an authentic Indonesian surf lesson on one of Bali’s most beautiful palm-fringed beaches! This lesson provides a fun and friendly learning environment for beginners, with a team of experienced instructors dedicated to getting you standing on your board within your first few lessons. After surfing, drive to your next activity: a Capoeira class. Capoeira is a unique Afro-Brazilian cultural manifestation that blends fighting, games, and dance, all performed to the accompaniment of musical instruments, clapping, and chanting. The Capoeira class is designed to be both active and interactive, offering a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for learning. Students are encouraged to master the movements, rhythm, and songs passed down to them while also developing their own style. This course invites everyone to discover, explore, and learn the beauties and mysteries of Afro-Brazilian culture. Above all, our Capoeira activities are cantered on having fun, bringing individuals together to form a healthy community.
Day 07
Turtle Conservation & Farewell Dinner
Today, you will be learning about and caring for Balinese turtles! All sea turtle species are endangered, primarily due to human activities such as hunting and egg consumption. Pollution of the ocean and destruction of breeding beaches have also dramatically decreased the turtle population in recent years. That’s why we’re here to help! Afterwards, continue your drive to Tanah Lot Temple. Imagine a Balinese temple (pura) perched high on a rock, facing the wide open ocean. With crashing waves below and the dramatic colours of the dusk sky as a backdrop, the scene is lit by the slowly disappearing sun creating a stunning sunset panorama.
Day 08
